FAQ

Questions about DraftRead

How drafts are analyzed, what the stages mean, what Pro adds, and what an analysis can and can't tell you.

What is DraftRead?

DraftRead is a League of Legends draft analyzer. You enter the ten champions from champion select, and it shows which team's composition is favored in the early, mid, late and very late game, compares both teams across 13 composition dimensions, explains the champion interactions that matter and lists curated draft notes for those champions.

Does DraftRead predict the actual match winner?

No. DraftRead evaluates the draft and estimates composition advantages. It does not know how the game will be played and does not guarantee a match outcome: a stronger draft still has to be played well.

How is a draft analysis generated?

DraftRead rates each composition on engage, tankiness, crowd control, range, burst, sustained damage, scaling, peel, mobility, siege, side lanes, teamfighting and pick potential, checks the draft against a growing knowledge base of champion and draft interactions, and uses AI to turn that into a short written explanation.

What do early, mid, late and very late game mean?

They are windows on the game clock: early game is 0–14 minutes, mid game 14–25 minutes, late game 25–35 minutes and very late game 35 minutes onward. DraftRead shows which team is favored in each window, so a draft that wins late but loses early reads differently from one that is ahead the whole game.

Is DraftRead free?

Yes. The Free plan includes one draft analysis a day with all four game stages and 8 composition dimensions. Pro passes remove the daily limit and unlock all 13 dimensions, every Draft Note and screenshot import: $4.99 for 24 hours, $19.99 for 1 month or $99.99 for 12 months.

Is a Pro pass a subscription?

No. A pass is a single payment for 24 hours, 1 month or 12 months of Pro. Nothing renews automatically, and buying another pass adds its time on top of what you have left.

Can I import a draft from a screenshot?

Yes, with Pro. On the Draft Analyzer, paste a screenshot (Ctrl+V), drop it or choose a file. DraftRead reads the champion portraits for both teams, fills in the draft and highlights any pick worth double-checking before you analyze.

Can I analyze pro play and esports drafts?

Yes. Any ten-champion draft works, whether it comes from your own champion select, a friend's game or a professional match. Screenshot import also reads broadcast draft screens.

Can I use DraftRead before every game?

Yes. Free includes one analysis a day. Any Pro pass removes the limit for as long as it lasts.

Can I suggest my own draft observations?

Yes. Suggest a Draft Note from any analysis. Notes are reviewed before they are published, and approved observations become part of the DraftRead knowledge base used in future analyses.

Is DraftRead affiliated with Riot Games?

No. DraftRead is an independent League of Legends analytics project. It isn't endorsed by Riot Games, and League of Legends is a trademark of Riot Games, Inc.

Will DraftRead support other games?

Potentially. DraftRead is focused on League of Legends for now.
